About Bull Bear Stock
Bull Bear Stock is an educational and analytical platform that helps retail traders and long-term investors engage with the markets in a calmer, more disciplined way.
Our mission
Bull Bear Stock exists to give retail traders and long-term investors a calmer, more disciplined way to engage with the markets. We believe most losses in retail trading come not from a lack of information but from too much of it, fragmented charts, conflicting tips, and emotional decisions made in a hurry. Our answer is a single, transparent, indicator-driven workflow paired with a free editorial product that explains every concept in plain English. We serve three audiences: active traders who want a structured second opinion before pulling the trigger; longer-horizon investors who want unbiased context for the positions they already hold; and learners who want to understand how technical analysis is actually used in practice. Whatever stage you are at, our goal is the same: help you make better decisions with less noise.
How the platform works
Behind the scenes the platform continuously ingests one-minute price and volume data for a curated universe of equities, computes a wide set of well-known technical indicators on every closed bar, and looks for moments where several independent signals agree. When that confluence crosses a high confidence threshold, the engine surfaces a setup with a clear entry, stop, and management plan. Position management is fully automated on the engine side, trailing stops, profit locks, time-based exits, and per-trade risk caps, so the user always sees the full reasoning behind a setup, not just a buy or sell label. We also process the pre-market and post-market sessions; extended-hours signals are labelled separately so users understand the wider spread and lower liquidity that comes with them. The live analysis engine and the analytics dashboard are planned subscription features; the editorial blog, the Stock Basics hub, the glossary, this methodology page and the community threads remain free to read.
Methodology overview
We are deliberately open about the way the engine reasons. Our methodology page walks through the indicator vocabulary, the role of confluence in signal generation, the risk-first philosophy that drives every position-management decision, and the limits of backtested results. We do not publish the parameter values, scoring weights, or formulas, those remain proprietary, but we do publish the principles, so any user can read them and decide whether the approach is one they want to follow. The same indicator definitions used inside the engine power the editorial blog and the educational hub, which means a reader who learns what RSI or VWAP means in our glossary will recognise the same terms in our market commentary.

Every article published on Bull Bear Stock has a named author, a published date, and an updated date if it has been revised after publication. Editorial pieces are reviewed by at least one team member before going live; corrections are made in the open, with a visible note on what changed and when. We do not accept paid placements disguised as analysis, we do not run sponsored promotional content, and we never promise a specific return, anywhere on the site. Our writers are encouraged to disclose positions when they materially affect the framing of an article. The same standards apply to our community threads: we moderate for spam, harassment, and misleading promotion, but we do not delete posts simply because they disagree with the engine's view or with our editorial line.
The team
Bull Bear Stock is built by a small group of traders, engineers and writers who care equally about the quality of the analysis and the quality of the writing. For now, day-to-day editorial pieces are published under the shared BullBearStock Team byline; the platform supports multiple named authors and we may attach an individual contributor to news pieces in the future. We deliberately keep individual identities private at this stage, as the team grows, named author profiles will be introduced. The team page describes our editorial standards rather than personal biographies.
